Welcome to our newsletter! We’re absolutely thrilled to have enjoyed a first full month here in Apperley Bridge, and it’s great to see so many new faces on the mats. We’re delighted to now have over 60 members at the academy across all of our programmes - a number which is continuing to increase day by day.
A huge welcome to everyone who has joined so far, and a big thank you to those that have taken the step to come and train with us at our new facility. As with any new project, we’ve seen minor teething problems, but can confirm that the toilets and showering facilities will be available again from Monday for the comfort of all of our members - thank you for bearing with us!
There’s a few updates to note below, including the introduction of our referral rewards scheme and the launch of Member of the Month. Our referral reward scheme is here!
As you may have seen in our recent email, we’ve launched our member referral scheme. This scheme ensures our members can benefit from referral rewards quickly, with various rewards now available!
For every friend that signs up to a membership at Gracie Barra Harrogate or Gracie Barra Apperley Bridge, you will receive a reward to the value of £20 from us. This can be redeemed as £20 off your membership the following month, a £20 voucher to spend in the GB Wear shop, £20 off a future seminar - or if you’re feeling super nice, you can gift it to your friend!
Simply ensure your friend quotes your name at the first point of enquiry to receive your reward! Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions or would like any more information on the scheme.
As a welcome gift, your friend will receive £20 off their uniform, or benefit from any existing promotion that is running at that time - whichever offers the best value.
Member of the Month coming to our GBK programmes!
We’re so excited to announce that as of next month, we’ll be announcing a member of the month for each of our GBK programmes - Tiny Champs, Little Champs 1, Little Champs 2 and Juniors and Teens. The coaching team will come together at the end of the month to choose who from each programme should receive the trophy for the month, before a presentation at the beginning of June - watch this space!
Whatsapp Groups
Our Whatsapp groups are now up and running. We’d encourage our adult members and parent members to join their respective groups. It offers a great opportunity to interact with fellow members to discuss things like upcoming competitions and events, kit swaps and more!
